Computer science was started both for the B. Com & B.Sc. streams in the year 1998. The Department aims to train students in various computer languages and in its applications. In this course they learn the basics of computer languages, Web designing, Cybersecurity etc.
Objectives
To prepare students to design and create complex software.
To develop new and effective algorithms.
To solve computing problems, design and devise new ways to use computers.
Computer Lab
The college has excellent lab facilities with printers, LAN and Internet facilities.
The campus is WI-FI enabled.
There are 50 systems catering to the needs of the students, supported by different software.
All the systems in the lab have back-up facilities.
