The department of English was established in the year 1998 and is headed by Mrs. B. Lavanya Kumari with experience of 25 years. Ever since, the department has been catering to the needs of the students. The department is convinced of empowering the students with a fair knowledge of communication skills and also to develop fluency in the language.The department of English is always zestful in helping the students to become fluent in speaking the language. It always takes a stand to provide an enriched platform for the students to express their innate talents and creativity.
The pride of the department is its 100% result every year, and this is attributed to the healthy and harmonious relationship between the teacher and the students. The department encourages the students to exhibit their creativity, which harnesses their holistic development.
One-Day National Seminar
A one-day National Seminar on “Synergy of Skills: A Transformative Approach to Unleashing Students’ Capabilities” was organized to highlight the need for holistic, skill-integrated education in today’s rapidly evolving world. The seminar brought together eminent academicians and resource persons who emphasized the integration of cognitive, emotional, ethical, technological, and creative skills to prepare students for real-life challenges. Through insightful sessions and deliberations, the programme inspired educators and learners to adopt learner-centric, innovative, and future-ready approaches that nurture confident, adaptable, and socially responsible individuals.
