The department of Bio-Technology was established in 2006 as one of the optional papers. It is a dynamic hub for students interested in the intersection of Biology, Technology and Innovation. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of biotechnological principles, techniques and applications.
Objectives
To equip students with practical laboratory skills, including techniques for DNA manipulation, protein expression, cell structure, and Bioinformatics analysis.
To promote excellence in education, research, and service, by preparing students to contribute to biotechnological advancement.
